Sunday 26thThe Rev Colin Dow led both services today. In the morning he spoke from the book of Titus Ch3 (He saved us...) and in the evening from the book of Matthew Ch23 (O Jerusalem, Jerusalem). In the house, after the evening service, he told us how he became a christian and what it was that led him to be a minister in the Free Church.
It was a very good communion weekend and we are grateful to God for Colin's ministry and for another new member by profession of faith.

Friday and Saturday June 24/25thOver the past two evenings the Rev Colin Dow has spoken about the depths of God's love (Hosea ch11) and also of Christs actions upon his arrest (John 18). The focus has been very much upon God and Jesus Christ. There were a good number at both services, 34 on Friday and 38 on Saturday.

Thursday June 23rdThe first of our communion services was a testimony evening. Three people (two from Golspie and one from Brora) spoke to us about how their lives were changed by coming to know and accept Jesus Christ as Lord. Each persons testimony was different to the other in terms of life experiences, and how they came to put their faith in Jesus, but not one of them regretted ever having taken that step. It was good to know the presence of God and to see his power at work in the lives of these people.
