"...turning back to God instead of leaving him out of my life."

Gods great purpose for his people is that they produce 'fruit to him.'(fruitfulness). Here is a small list of what could be described as fruit:


  • receiving God's word and allowing it to shape my thoughts/actions/beliefs etc

  • turning back to God instead of leaving him out of my life

  • being aware and ready to own up that I have sinned

  • understanding and believing that Jesus needed to die for my sins to make it possible for a way back to God.

  • words are not enough if not backed up by actions. In a turned-around-life there is a now a need for me to do good.

  • what I say by way of thankfulness and gratitude to God and his son Jesus Christ

  • the fruit of God's Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self control. These should be more evident the older I get
