The Scout and Guide units of Golspie and their leaders joined the Free Church congregation at their morning service for the annual celebration of remembrance for their founders, Lord and Lady Baden-Powell, and members of the movement around the world.

The service was led by the Rev Eric Paterson, who encouraged everyone to continue seeking development in their spiritual, physical and emotional well-being, following the guidelines of the founders.

The collection raised £71 for Pamoja, a Christian charity serving the poor, widows, and orphans in Kenya.
