Last Sunday evening the folks of Golspie Free Church accepted the invitation to head over to Dornoch and join with them for their evening service.

The invited speaker was Rev Dr. Kang San Tan, who is Head of Mission Studies at Redcliffe College, part of Cheltenham and Gloucester University.

It is always fascinating to hear about the Christian faith from someone who belongs to a culture different to that of the 'West'.

Dr Tan did not disappoint and a thoroughly good evening was had.

Thanks to the Dornoch folks for the nosh up.

There will be a soup lunch at Golspie Free Church (Church Street) between 12.00 and 2.00pm on Saturday 24th November. The Golspie craft Group will also be there with goods available for purchase.

It was good to meet with the different guys who came to speak at our communion services. All the meetings went well and we also appreciated the Brora folks joining with us for the Sunday evening meeting. The YF also came along for the after church fellowship and it was good to listen to Alasdair MacLeod tell us why he became a christian how he is now the minister in Ullapool.
