The annual congregational meeting was held last night and included the usual reports of the church activities throughout last year. The financial report was also given.

The main part of the evening however was listening to, and participating in, a presentation by Mr Andrew McNair (Covell Mathews) with regards to our church buildings and how we regard them.

The reason for this discussion is the knowledge that work will soon have to be done on the floor of the building to deal with woodworm. Because of this the question is asked, 'would it be worthwhile looking at the layout or our buildings and seeing if they could be still further improved upon to help meet the needs of present day living?
